    1. You are not obliged to provide the personal data collected on this website. There is no legal, contractual or other obligation, nor is the provision of your personal data required to conclude a contract. Insofar as the data collection is required for a faultless display of this website, data are collected automatically during buildup of the website or after you have provided your consent.

      2. The use of cookies by Vimeo and YouTube to display and play videos on our website and to offer you personalised features such as window size, volume or playback position is based on the exception of § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG.
  7. CONTACTING US BY E-MAIL
      1. When you contact us by e-mail, we will store the data you provide (your e-mail address and – where applicable – your name, telephone number and your message) in order to answer your query. Once storage is no longer necessary, we will delete all data collected with regard to your query or we will restrict its processing if statutory retention obligations exist.
      2. We process this data to respond to your requests or queries. Said processing takes place for the purposes of our legitimate interests (Article 6 (1)1 1 lit. f GDPR), as it enables us to communicate with you in a satisfactory manner.
  8. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ON THE HANDLING OF PERSONAL DATA AS PART OF AN APPLICATION TO BE INCLUDED IN OUR TALENT DATABASE 
    1. We are pleased that you are taking an interest in us and would like to apply to being included in our database as a talent, actor or influencer. We would like to use this opportunity to provide you with information about the processing of your personal data in connection with your application.
    2. You can contact us at the e-mail address given, hello@dbps.de for the purpose of your application. We strongly recommend you encrypt the documents attached to your e-mail by using a data compression program such as 7Zip and forwarding the password to us by phone.
    3. We will process the data you provide as part of your application (i.e. photos, videos, cv, phone contacts, e-mail) to decide on whether to include you in our data base and to contact you.
    4. The legal basis for our processing of your data is Article 6 (1) 1 lit. b GDPR.
    5. In the event that we should turn down your application, your data will be deleted within 6 months at the latest. Should we want to include you in our data base, we will be in touch to arrange a personal meeting to get to know you and where required to take some pictures of you.
  9. EMBEDDED VIDEOS (VIMEO)
    1. The videos on our website are embedded by the video portal Vimeo, LLC, 555 West 18th Street, New York, New York 10011, US
    2. Every time a page that offers one or many Vimeo video clips is called up, a direct connection is created between your browser and a Vimeo server. Information about your visit and your computer’s IP address is stored there. In addition, the data mentioned under point 6.1 of this declaration may be transmitted. Your interaction with the Vimeo player (e.g. clicking the Start button) is also transmitted to Vimeo and stored. The transfer of the above data is based on our legitimate interest in displaying the videos of our talents on the website. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) f GDPR.
    3. We have integrated Vimeo as privacy-friendly as possible by embedding the so-called “Do not track” parameter in the code for the videos displayed on our website. This means that Vimeo does not collect any analysis data about videos viewed on our website.
    4. Vimeo is responsible for the processing of your personal data. We have no influence on the data collected and the data processing processes, nor are we aware of the full extent of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by Vimeo.
    5. Vimeo may also set cookies, for example to save settings in the video player (e.g. volume, size, playback). These cookies are used based on the exception of § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG, as playing those videos is part of the basic function of our website.
    6. Vimeo will process your data in the US. Vimeo is certified under the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework for the transfer of personal data to the USA. The legal basis for the transfer of data is thus the adequacy decision of the EU Commission for the secure level of data protection in the USA in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR.

  10. EMBEDDED YOUTUBE VIDEOS
    1. We have embedded YouTube videos on our website. Youtube is provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.
    2. The videos are stored on http://www.YouTube.com gespeichert and can be played directly from our website. We have no influence on this data transmission.
    3. When videos are played, Google will receive information about your visit of the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, the following data will be transmitted. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, however we kindly ask you to contact YouTube to exercise this right.
    4.  We embed these videos using the privacy-enhanced mode. This means no data will be collected to personalise your viewing experience in YouTube. We have no influence on the scope of data collected by YouTube beyond that.
    5. YouTube may also set cookies, for example to save settings in the video player (e.g. volume, size, playback). These cookies are used based on the exception of § 25 (2) No. 2 TDDDG, as playing those videos is part of the basic function of our website.
    6. Google will process your data in the US. Google is certified under the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework for the transfer of personal data to the USA. The legal basis for the transfer of data is thus the adequacy decision of the EU Commission for the secure level of data protection in the USA in accordance with Art. 45 GDPR.
    7. By integrating YouTube videos, further services or servers of Google may be integrated, e.g. Google Fonts, Google Ads, Google Analytics or Google Photos. For more information on the purpose and scope of data collection and processing by YouTube, please refer to YouTube’s privacy policy, where you will also find further information on your rights and settings options to protect your privacy.
  11. EMBEDDED INSTAGRAM CONTENT
    1. We have embedded Instagram content on our website, displaying content such as posts, images or videos. Instagram is a social media network provided by Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Quay, Grand Canal Bridge, Dublin 2, Ireland.
    2. To display this embedded content, your IP address and, potentially, other technical device-related information such as screen resolution, browser, and operating system used are transferred to Meta servers. If you are logged in to Instagram while displaying this content, Meta may be able to associate this information with your account.
    3. We have embedded Instagram content so that we may enable you to access and share this content and to provide a preview of our Instagram feed on our page. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in providing this content to our website visitors and therefore Article 6 (1) f GDPR.
    4. Meta may process your personal data on servers in the United States. Meta is a certified participant of the Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework, which constitutes an Adequacy Decision of the European Commission according to Article 45 GDPR.

  12. WEBFONTS
    1. We have integrated webfonts on our site which – in the interests of efficient and technically secure display with short loading times – are loaded directly from the providers‘ servers. This also ensures that fonts are displayed uniformly and kept up to date. Licence restrictions on the part of the provider may also make it necessary to load fonts from their server. In order to display the fonts, your browser will establish a connection with the providers‘ servers and transmit the technically required data for displaying the font, such as IP address, language settings, operating system, screen resolution or details of the device used. The data is transmitted on the basis of our legitimate interests in the display of the fonts as described above. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) f GDPR. According to the providers, the data collected is not used for profiling or to display adverts, but only to make the fonts available.

  13. SOCIAL MEDIA PROFILES
    1. General information on data processing in connection with our profiles on social media
      1. We use our profiles on the social networks Facebook and Instagram to provide information about our company and services as well as to get in touch and communicate with users of the social networks.
      2. Please note that user personal data may be processed outside the European Union. This can result in risks for the users, for instance enforcing the users’ rights might be more difficult.
      3. If you leave us messages or comment on these profiles, we process your personal data to communicate with you. This represents a legitimate interest; the legal basis is art. 6 (1) 1 lit f GDPR. No further storage of communication data takes place outside these networks on our part.
      4. The terms and conditions of the operators of these platforms apply. Be aware that we cannot provide further information as to any personal data processed by these operators during your visit to the above networks. We kindly ask you to refer directly to the information provided by these platforms and have included links to privacy policies or other relevant information below.
      5. Also, should you have any requests for information or would like to assert your data subject rights, we would like to point out that these can most effectively be asserted with the providers. Only they have access to their users’ data and can take appropriate measures and provide information directly. Should you nevertheless require assistance, you may of course contact us.
    2. About the Facebook Fanpage
      1. We are jointly responsible with Meta for the collection of the personal data of visitors to our Facebook page – but not for any further processing by Meta. We have concluded a joint control agreement with Meta.
      2. Meta has agreed to take care of data subjects’ rights. Users may, for example, send information or deletion requests directly to Meta. However, your rights as data subjects (especially to information, deletion, objection and complaints to the competent supervisory authority) are not restricted in any way by our agreements with Meta.

      4. As for information collected about user’s devices, see “Device Information” – this may include IP addresses, operating system, browser type, language settings or cookie information.
